About Nailcare

Nailcare Program

The primary purpose of the Nailcare Course is to train the student in both theory and practical experience that will prepare them to pass the State Board examination and for employment opportunities as a Nail Technician . This course is directed toward developing desirable habits and attitudes with respect to health, sanitation, safety, basic manipulative skills, and encouragement towards self-reliance, service to others and an ethical approach to the Nail Care profession.

Class Schedule - 600 Clock Hours

Day Class Schedule:

Tuesday – Friday:

9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Required Class Attendance:

24 Hours Per Week

Number of Weeks to Complete Program:

25 Weeks (With Perfect Attendance)

Evening Class Schedule:

Tuesday - Thursday:

6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.

PLUS Saturday:

9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Required Class Attendance:

18 Hours Per Week

Number of Weeks to Complete Program:

34 Weeks (With Perfect Attendance)

Program Objective

Perform the basic and advanced manipulative skills for nail care services including manicures, pedicures, nail extensions, nail spa services, nail art, and nail maintenance & repair, and apply theory and practical experience to assure sound judgments and procedures.
